Hi! The heart and spiritual direction of our church runs along the lines of three key statements that we use to keep our focus on Jesus and upon the Kingdom of God:
1. "Be Born Again" This statement is our message to everyone! It speaks of what happens when you believe in Jesus and accept Him into your life as your personal Savior and Lord. When you decide to repent of your sins and trust Jesus as your Savior you are spiritually "born again" i.e. given new life now spiritually by Jesus living in your spirit (heart) by His Spirit. When you are born again you receive the awesome gift of eternal life with God in heaven forever. It is a new birth into the forever family of God and eternal Kingdom of God. Have you been born again?
2. "Be Spirit-filled" This statement encourages us not to "run the church" like a business based on our smarts, savvy or surveys. The Holy Spirit is the helper that Jesus gives His people to have power to do the spiritual work of the Kingdom of God like evangelism and transformative preaching and teaching. You receive the Holy Spirit when you are born again and then we continue on in the fullness of His manifold ministry in our hearts, lives and in and through the church. We ask our folks to ask God to fill us each daily with His Holy Spirit!
3. "More Jesus" This statement is to remind us what this is all about. Jesus is Lord! Lord of our lives...Lord of His Church! Our focus, aim and goal is more Jesus in our personal lives, in our relationships with each other and in our homes and community as we live our daily lives. If we lose the spiritual heart of "more Jesus" we must stop everything and reset our selves to loving Him first and foremost before we do anything else...everything for His Glory!

Our Core Values:
“Gathering” is the heart of fellowship as we get together in the Name of Jesus to encourage each other to grow, give and go! Along with our regular weekly gatherings we have monthly fellowship meals, seasonal all-church events like our summer chicken dinner,fall hayride, harvest festival and Thanksgiving dinner. Ask God to show you why it is important for you to commit to gather with His people.
“Growing” is the call of maturing discipleship through all the gatherings, giving and going we do as a fellowship. The Word of God is shared in everything we “do” so that we can “be” his disciples in a growing way. We regularly go deeper into the Word and Prayer through Sunday Evening Prayer, Men’s Breakfasts and Bible Studies and Women’s Teas and Bible Studies. Youth and Kids growth in Jesus are a focus of BPC with the ongoing weekly “Gospel Project”, evangelistic events and camp. Ask God to help you grow spiritually for His Glory.
“Giving” includes not only our treasures, but sharing our time and talents to minister to others in Jesus’ Name. We encourage “tithing” and generous giving to keep the combined mission of our church going forward. We also see the giving of ourselves sacrificially to each other, to Christ and others as a vital part of all our gathering, growing and going out with the Gospel. Ask God to show you how to be a mature joyful giver of your time, talent and treasures.
“Going” is the call of God on our Church to lift up Jesus as Savior and Lord in all of our gathering, growing and giving. Evangelism is our priority as we encourage every member of our fellowship to develop an “Oikos” (sphere of influence) prayer list where we ask that God would help and empower us to be witnesses for Jesus to those nearest to us. As a church we intentionally reach out through evangelistic prayer meetings, social media tracts and messages, evangelistic events and regular home and foreign missions projects and giving. Ask God to empower you to be His witness.
